Digital Smile Design 3D combines calibrated photographs, intra-oral scans and facial analysis to create a 3D virtual wax-up that is in harmony with the patient’s face. The resulting design can be reviewed chairside, exported as an STL for printing, and used as the foundation for provisionals, mock-ups and final restorations.

Can I do lower arch only?
This service is designed with upper arch DSD as the base package. Lower arch DSD can be added as an optional extra when you submit the case.
What format will I receive?
You receive an STL of the final wax-up, ready for 3D printing. If you select the 3D printing option, we will also ship a printed model from Voxel3Di Lab.
Is this suitable for full-mouth rehab?
Yes, but for complex full-mouth rehabilitations we recommend discussing the case with our team in advance so we can align on treatment stages and occlusal planning.
Can I combine this with surgical guides?
The 3D smile design can be used together with implant planning and surgical guide services to align esthetic outcomes with implant positioning and prosthetic design.
